NV Insurance Industry
The Nevada personal auto insurance market is very competitive with well over 160 companies offering personal auto policies in the State. An auto insurance policy issued by an insurance company will have several parts.
Auto Insurance
As of July 1, 2018, Nevada’s minimum motor vehicle liability insurance coverage increased to $25,000 in bodily injury per person, $50,000 in bodily injury per accident, and $20,000 in property damage ("25/50/20").
Homeowners Insurance
There are various types of homeowners' insurance policies. Those coverages include protections, like property damage, contents coverage, liability, medical payments, and temporary living expenses, to cover losses that might occur to a privately owned residence, or as a result of the ownership of a residence or real property.
